With growing success and popularity of the Anand Vidyalaya, SDA, a few students from adjoining areas approached our volunteers with an interest in joining and were warmly received. Gradually the number of these students started decreasing because it was very inconvenient for children to walk all the way after attending school and doing other household chores. It was then decided to start Anand Vidyalaya in Safdarjung Enclave Library cum Recreation Center with full support from Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary, Joint RWA.

The school has kids ranging from classes 7th to 10th. Classes are held on all weekdays and Saturdays. This branch has caught attention of various residents who actively participate in teaching kids the subjects they are comfortable with, primarily English and Maths. As is the Anand Vidyalaya custom, all festivals like Republic Day, Woman’s Day, Children’s Day are celebrated with much enthusiasm. Children regularly participate in various quiz, drawing, dancing programs.
